Christopher Garrison was the son of Martin and Triphena Arthur Garrison. On March 26, 1859 Christopher married Lucy E.C. Poole. The couple had 2 sons Thomas and William.

Christopher, his two brothers Henry and William and his two half brothers Thomas and Clayton all served in the Confederate States Army. None survived the war and are buried side by side in the Mt Pleasant United Methodist Cemetery in Jewellville, Ga.

Christopher M. Garrison, (January 2, 1842 -- April 12, 1863), Enlisted in the
Civil War as a Private on August 24, 1861, at the Age of 19-Years, and was a
Resident of Banks County, Georgia. He Enlisted in Company A., 24th Regiment,
Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Army of Northern Virginia, Confederate States of
America, Wofford's Brigade, McLaw's Division, Longstreet's Corps. Christopher
last Appeared on the Rolls on October 31, 1861.
