Nicholas Carr Byrum, infant son of Jeff and Tammy Byrum, died Thursday, June 26, 2003 at Carolinas Medical Center University Hospital.
In addition to his mother and father, Nicholas is survived by his brother, Devin Byrum, and sister, Sarah Byrum, both of Belmont; paternal grandparents, Harold and Barbara Byrum of Belmont; maternal grandmother, Dona Simmons of Charlotte; maternal grandfather, Willard Simmons of Concord; paternal aunts and uncles, Sherrie and Warren Ellington, Rhonda and Greg Harmon, Tina and Darren Leong, and Leah Byrum, all of Belmont; and maternal aunts and uncles, Angela Simmons of Charlotte, Marlena and Steve Norwood of Lancaster, SC, and Bryant Simmons of Charlotte.
