Lillian Ruth Farris, 93, of Roger, Ark. formerly of Newnata, Ark. entered into rest on July 17, 2009 in Rogers.

Lillian was born January 23, 1916 in Newnata, Ark. to Leroy Monroe and Generah Elizabeth (Copeland) Gower.

She was a member of the Big Spring Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her son D.L. ‘Joe' Farris of Blue Springs, Mo.; her daughter, Betty Branscum of Rogers, Ark.; four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Generah Gower; her husband, James Dennis Farris; brothers; Odis, Johnny, Austin and Thurman Gower and sisters; Gertrude Long, Laura Broyles, Myrtle Long, Vergie Gower and Bethal Gower.

No visitation is schedules.

Funeral service is 10 a.m., Monday, July 20, 2009 at Timbo Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Timbo with Bro. Junior Barham officiating and interment in Timbo Cemetery, Timbo. Pallbearers are Mark Branscum, Tony Branscum, Danny Farris, Bob Gower, Andy Gower and Bob Stewart.
