Albert immigrated to the U.S. in 1890. He lived in Wolcott, White Co, Indiana. His two brothers, Walter and Alfred, and their sister Annie joined him a couple of years later.
Albert eventually moved his wife and children to Ontario, Canada, and settled there.

"Uncle Albert moved to Canada (above Detroit). I remember he raised prize-winning cattle on his large farm. My father, Charles McDuffie, my brothers, Joe and Wayne, and I visited them in about 1950".
