The many friends in Madison and Jefferson counties regret to learn of the death of a faithful friend Mr. Nathaniel Bethel Sanders of Greenville which occurred February 1, 1941. Mr. Sanders was born August 5, 1858 in Jefferson County and had lived in Madison and Jefferson Counties all of his life. He was 82 years of age. He had been active in farm life up to a year and a half ago. Services were held in the First Baptist Church in Greenville. The body was laid to rest Sunday afternoon in the Elizabeth Cemetery in Jefferson County. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Claudia Sanders, a sister, Mrs. Ellah Theodocia Chason, of Aucilla, several nieces, Mrs. Delia Barbre of Miami, who was at his bedside during his illness, Mrs. Minnie Paxton of Miami, Mrs. Mabel Bishop of Aucilla and Miss Vera Chason of Tallahassee, a nephew Mr. Wilson Sanders of Miami, and other relatives. - Madison Enterprise Recorder
