On Feb 21, 1852, she married George W Davis, a businessman and eventual Mayor of Springfield. According to Charles Love's "Springfield: The First 100 Years" Aunt Elizabeth became the proud owner of the first sewing machine in Robertson County. Their home on 5th Street still stands.
George and Elizabeth had three daughters; Ella (1853-1945), Addie (Bell)(1854-1942), and Georgia (Bell)(1867-1941).
