David K. Armstrong, son of Ronald E. Armstrong & Nadine (nee Warren) Riddle, was born November 14, 1957 in Carmi, IL. He departed this life Tuesday morning, February 10, 2004 in Metropolis, IL. At the time of his passing David had attained the age of 46 years 2 months & 27 days.
David was united in marriage to Bonnie D. (Page). She survives.
Other survivors include: His Mother – Nadine Riddle of Rock Hill, SC; a Daughter – Brooke Armstrong of Metropolis, IL; a Son – Jarrod K. Armstrong of Carmi, IL; 2 Step Children – Tabitha Evans & Savanna Ross, both of Vienna, IL; a Grandson – Aiden; a Brother – Rick Armstrong of New York; a Sister – Sue Pierce of Rock Hill, SC; Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other relatives & many friends.
David was a graduate of the University of Indiana at Evansville where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
David was a former Illinois State Police Trooper with 17 years service. He was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks in Metropolis, IL, & enjoyed computers as a hobby.
David leaves his family & many friends to cherish his memory.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at the Kuykendall Cemetery at Carmi, IL. Rev. Richard Armstrong will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 PM Friday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
