She was a homemaker and the former owner of Crown Furniture Co. in Benton. She was a member of Maple Spring United Methodist Church and a former member of the Benton Women's Club.
Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl St. Marie; four brothers, Raymond, Clelon, Loman and Hayes Byars; two sisters, Nancy Louella Dotson and Mozell Byars Darnell; and one niece. Her parents were Arlie Webb Byars and Noma Whitlock Byars.
