MOUNTAIN HOME - Clara A. Minic, 79, of Mountain Home, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1992, in a Mountain Home hospital after a lengthy illness.

Clara was born March 10, 1913, in Kansas City. Kan., a daughter of Leo and Anna Vogel Tripple. Clara married George Minic Sr. on Feb. 16, 1946, in Elko, Nev., and they lived in Twin Falls. She moved to Glenns Ferry and eventually moved to Mountain home where she became head cook at the Elmore Medical Hospital until her retirement in 1972.

Survivors include two sons, Dick Smith of Twin Falls and Ron Minic of Boise; one daughter, Vonda Butler of Sedgwick, Kan.; one brother Leo Tripple of Twin Falls; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Anna Tripple; her husband, George Minic, two sisters and one brother.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1992, at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls, with the Rev. Jerome Wohlfeil officiating. Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Humphreys Funeral Home in Mountain Home.
