Obituary from the December 7, 1882 addition of the Milton(WI) Telephone
Kidder - At his residence at Milton Junction, Nov 28, Joseph B. Kidder, aged 84 years.
Mr. Kidder was born in Philadelphia on the early part of the year Washington died, and resided in the east until his removal to Wisconsin 36 years ago. He purchased a farm lying 3 miles west of the Junction and resided upon it until 9 years ago when he removed to the village to live.
His boldily health was such that he was able to walk to the farm only a short time before his death, but the last two years of his life his mental powers were greatly impaired.
The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. F.W. Hullinger, at the M.E. Church and he was interred in the village cemetery.
