Lillian Muirhead Dahlstrom of East Dundee Funeral services for Lillian Muirhead Dahlstrom, 95, formerly of Lily Lake and Plato Center, will be held at 7 p.m. today, at Laird Funeral Home, 120 S. Third St. (located at the corner of Third and Oregon), West Dundee. Born Jan. 6, 1907, in Plato Center, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (nee Beith) Muirhead, she passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2002, at her home. Burial will be private on Friday, in the Plato Center Cemetery. Lillian and her husband, Verner, had farmed in the Lily Lake area for many years prior to their retirement. She was a member of the Northwest Covenant Church of Mount Prospect. She is survived by her daughter, Marion (Frank) Kminek of West Dundee; granddaughter, Tammy Sopper; stepgrandchildren, Frank (Beth), Christopher and Christina Kminek; stepgreat-grandchildren, Joseph, Zoe, William and Hope; brother, John Muirhead of Plato Center; and sister, Lucinda Corron of Wasco, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Verner Dahlstrom in 1990; grandchild, Mari-Rae Sopper on Sept. 11, 2001; brother, Donald Muirhead; and sister, Elizabeth Muirhead. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. today, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Elgin Senior Center.
