Mrs. D. McFarland, well known Camdenton woman, passed away Saturday morning, October 5th at 9:00 o'clock at the Latham Hospital in California, Mo. Mrs. McFarland had been a patient at the hospital for about a week when she passed away.

Martha Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Adams, was born April 7, 1874. In 1892 she became the bride of Thomas Boyd and to this union two daughters were born, who survived their mother, Mrs. Bertha Carpenter of Holbrook Arizona, and Mrs. D.M. Petty of Phoenix, Arizona.After the death of Mr. Boyd she was united in marriage to Edward Parkinson in 1902 and to this union two sons were born, both of whom survived their mother, John Parkinson, of Camdenton and Frank Parkinson of the United States Navy and now stationed in China. In 1923 she became the bride of D. McFarland who survives her passing.

In addtion to her husband and children she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Ada Choate of San Barbara, California. She was a member of Christian Church, having united in early womanhood.

Rev. Ralph Blair officiated at the funeral services held at the Camdenton Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at 2;30 o'clock.
