Funeral for Lucille Alred, 81, of Route 5 Decatur will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight NeSmith officiating.
Burial will be in Caddo Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Alred died Wednesday at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. She was born Lucille Waugh on Dec. 4, 1912, in Morgan County and was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Windle Alred of Mechanicsville, Va, and Robert Charles Alred of Decatur; three daughters, Ruth Weaver of Hartselle, Bobbie Brewington of Trinity and Margie Cowan of Decatur; one brother, the Rev. Marvin Waugh of Trinity; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Cowan, Rickey Weaver, Daniel Alred, Eddie Brewington, Duncan Swords and Jeff Alred.
