Funeral for Charlie "Ervin" Armor, 85, of Trinity will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Caddo Congregational Christian Church with the Rev Ray Phillips and the Rev Greg Standridge officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery with Shelton Funeral Home Directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr Armor died Thursday, July 2, 1998, at Medical Center-Shoals. He was born May 14, 1913, in Lawrence County to Charles Ernest Armor and Minnie Clemmons. He was the widower of Estelle Standridge Armor and a retired carpenter.
He is survived by two sons, Ronald E Armor of Trinity and Alvan B Armor of Decatur; one daughter, Barbara Nesmith of Moulton; two sisters, Fran Waters of Decatur and Ophelia Johnson of Gadsden; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Grandsons and nephews will be pallbearers.
