OBITUARY:
Last Sunday evening, May 21, 1905, Mr. David Ross living in Esbon Township died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. A. Kennedy. He was 74 years, 1 month and 28 days old and leaves a wife, three daughters, three sons and relatives to mourn his loss.
Mr. Ross was an old settler in this county, having lived here since 1876, and during that time by his honest dealings he made himself many friends who with this paper extend their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
The deceased has had very poor health for the past two years and has been under the doctor’s care during that time. He had several different diseases and stood his suffering without a murmur until death came and relieved him of his suffering.
The funeral services were held in the Odessa church by Rev. L. B. Tremain, of Lebanon, and the remains were laid to rest in the Odessa cemetery last Monday.
