GRAND RIVERS, Ky.--Services for Doug Parish, 81, of Grand Rivers were Tuesday at Grand Rivers United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rob Hughes officiating. Burial was in Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers.
Mr. Parish died at 9:52 a.m. Sunday at Calvert City Convalescent Center.
He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Air Products in Calvert City and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Grand Rivers United Methodist Church and Gilbertsville Masonic Lodge No. 835.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Alma Chandler Parish; one son, Douglas Clint Parish of Calvert City; two daughters, Louella Cothran of Grand Rivers and Jan Baird of Sturgis; one sister, Emma Jean Howell of Grand Rivers; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. His parents were Lawrence Parish and Daisy Odom Parish.
Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville was in charge of arrangements.
