Confined at Davids Island, New York Harbor, until paroled and transferred to City Point, Virginia, where he was received on October 28, 1863, for exchange. Reported absent sick through February, 1864, but rejoined the company prior to November 1, 1864. Paroled at Morganton on May 16, 1865
