Mrs. Charlotte H. Gyde, 77, 5454 N. Zetzer Road, died this morning at a hospital in South Bend, Ind., where she had been staying with her daughter.

Mrs. Gyde was born in Trumbull County near Warren on Nov. 30, 1900, to the late Orris and Mary "Flory" Kistler. She was married to Alonzo B. Gyde, who died Nov. 14, 1970.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Glenn "Mary Alice" Hill, South Bend, Ind.; a foster daughter, Mrs. Jerry "Nancy" Arnold, San Diego, Calif.; five grandchildren; three brothers, Samuel Kister, Calif.; Orris Kister Jr., Newton Falls, Ohio, and William Kistler, Bath, Maine; three sisters, Mrs. Vera Miler, Lynnwood Calif.; Mrs. Ralph "Clarabelle" Haughsed, Medina, and Mrs.Howard "Priscilla" Fairchild, Bedford Heights.

Mrs. Gyde was a member of he Seventh Day Adventist Church in Sandusky.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday from the Robinson Funeral Home. Pastor Edwin E. Bowen from the Seventh Day Adventist Church will officiate and burial will be in Locust Point Cemetery.
