ROYALTON -- Clara Meisenheimer, 78, Royalton, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at St. Cloud Hospital.

She was born May 22, 1921, in Klum, N.D., to August and Helma (Hendrickson) Holste. She went to nurses school in Minneapolis. She married Francis R. Meisenheimer on July 22, 1942, in Shakopee. They lived in Utah, Indiana and Illinois and moved to Onamia in 1955. She worked at the Onamia Hospital and Nursing Home in Onamia for 20 years. She retired in 1983 and moved to Royalton in 1984. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Royalton.

Survivors include her husband, of Sauk Rapids; a son, Robert, Royalton; a daughter, Helen Brugh, St. Cloud; four grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth Holste, Torrance, Calif., and Harvey Holste, Jonesport, Maine; and four sisters, Pearl Skelley, Henderson, Lee Reimer and Alice Bocksruker, both of Los Angeles, and Frances Wagh, Little Rock, Ark.

Two brothers, Henry and Emmett Holste, died earlier.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Royalton with the Rev. John Ramsbacher officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery of Royalton.

Friends may call at Brenny Funeral Home of Royalton from 4-8 p.m. today and at the church an hour before services Friday.
