R.G. Clark, an 80-year-old Trenton resident, died at 4:43 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at the Cameron Regional Medical Center in Cameron.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 at Resthaven Mortuary, north of Trenton. Bro. John Michael will officiate. Burial will be in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, north of Trenton.
A visitation is scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009 at the mortuary. Open visitation is under way.
Mr. Clark was born on Sept. 19, 1928 in Cudahy, WI, the son of John G. and Evelyn Forssberg Clark. He was raised west of Daggett, MI. He attended the Burkland School before moving to Cudahy, where he graduated from Cudahy High School. After graduating, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving from March 11, 1947 to April 30, 1950.
He was married on May 13, 1950 in Evansville, IN to Emma Lee Reitzel Clark at Evansville, IN, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Clark sold water systems for Home Comfort and then American Standard before starting his own plumbing company in Trenton in 1960. He served as a board member for many years with the Trenton Chamber of Commerce as well as being active with the Trenton IOOF Lodge and the Trenton Elks Lodge, where he served as Exalted Ruler and District Deputy to the Grand Exalted Ruler.
He is survived by a son, Richard Clark and his wife, Donna of Trenton; two daughters, Sondra Meeker and her husband, Marvin, of Trenton and Tonia Schipull and her husband, Rod, of Kansas City; two brothers, John Clark and his wife, Mary, and Clayton Clark and his wife, Dottie, both of Menomonee, MI; two sisters, Karen Barnes and her husband, Howard, of Oklahoma City, OK and June Madden and her husband, Mike, of Peshtigo, WI; three grandchildren, Whitney Shipull, Derek Clark and Jeff Corbin; four step-grandchildren, Sarah McGuire, Jason Browning, Jeffrey Browning and Tiffany Borders; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; a brother, Lee Clark; and two sisters, Carol Clark and Joyce Harris.
