Eleanor C. Masten Of Wilmington, DE, died Sunday December 19, 1999 in the Masonic Home of Delaware, Wilmington. She was 81.

Mrs. Masten was born February 14, 1918 in Dover, DE, the daughter of the late Edward T. and Lula Burrows Pardee. She was a homemaker and was well known in the area as a seamstress. She bred and trained champion Schnauzers and enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Her husband, W. Berten Masten, died in 1986.

She is survived by 1 son, John Vorman of PA; 3 brothers, George Pardee of Tucson, AZ, Robert and Thomas Pardee, both of Harrington, DE; 2 sisters, Lula P. Carrow of Dover, DE and Sarah L. Flowers of Chestertown, MD.

Services will be Thursday, December 23 at 12 noon in the FARIES FUNERAL CHAPEL, 29 South Main St., Smyrna, DE, where friends may call 1 hour before services. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna. Arrangements are by FARIES FUNERAL DIRECTORS, INC., 29 South Main St., Smyrna, DE.
