WILLIAM HUFNAGEL, 77, of RR#2, Fowler, died Thursday, March 14, at his home. Mr. Hufnagel was a former Clinton County Commissioner, a member of the Farm Bureau, Knights of Columbus and the Holy Name Society.
Mr. Hufnagel was born August 5th, 1906, in Dallas Twp. He was the son of Anna (Shafer) and Frank Hufnagel, and lived all his life in the Fowler area.
Surviving are his wife, Matilda; two sons, Leon P. Hufnagel, of Marlette, and William L. Hufnagel of Fowler; One sister, Mrs. Frances Bishop, of Owosso; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Services were held Saturday morning, March 17th, at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler, with the Rev. Fr. Denis Spitzley officiating.
Interment was made in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
