James Eversole passed away Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at his home. He had been in poor health some time but was able to be aroused till only two weeks before his death. He expressed himself as being ready to go having made preparations early in life to ? Christ. Having joined the Methodist church at Mitchell, Ind. When the Wesley Chapel church was ? charter member. Only four years ago he and his wife celebrated their Golden wedding. Twelve children had been born to them, four having passed on to their reward. The surviving ones were Ed.? and Henry of Cazlas?, Rex of Ore? Isle?, a missionary in India. Those present were Harry, of Pittsburgh, Pa., Mrs. Jesse Wilkerson, Mrs. Arch Tow and Mrs. Clarence Tirey of Mitchell. The funeral was conducted at Wesley Chapel Sunday afternoon, at 2 o’clock by Rev. Todd, assisted by Rev. Leech. The Methodist choir of Mitchell furnished the music. There were eight flower girls, part of them being the grandchildren. His funeral was largely attended. He was laid to rest in the Bass cemetery. The bereaved ones have the sympathy.
