Amos T. Earle, 92, of Cadiz, died June 7, 1999 at River's Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa, Ky.

A retired coal miner from Island Creek Coal Co., a 50 year member of John T. Crandell Masonic Lodge #457 in Madisonville, a member of Madeline Eastern Star Chapter # 64 in Madisonville and a member of the Rockcastle United Methodist Church in Trigg County, he was a son of the late Leslie and Blanche Coleman Earle.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Marie Thomas Earle ; a son, Billie Earle of Hopkins County ; two daughters, Betty Bochmke, Woodriver, Ill., and Sandra E. Pranschke of Minneapolis, Minn.,; six grandchildren ; one great-grandchild ; a brother, Jewell Earle of Muhlenburg County, and a sister, Verbal Baker of Hendersonville, Tenn.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, June 10 at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville with the Rev. Steve McVay and Rev Jim Shuck officiating.
Burial followed in Rolling Hills Cemetery, Eddyville, Lyon Co.,KY
