Lois A. (Stuber) Doyle, 76, died Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John Ralph and Antoinette (Montesano) Stuber and was a graduate of Albany High School. Before her children were born, Mrs. Doyle worked for the New York Telephone Company. She then became a devoted homemaker raising her three children. She enjoyed spending time and traveling with her family. She attended many of her grandchildren's sporting events and was their number one fan. Mrs. Doyle was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Doyle was predeceased by her husband, Thomas. She is survived by her children, Nancy Madsen and her husband Kristopher, Kathleen Dyer and her husband Michael, and Michael Doyle and his wife Rose; her grandchildren, Jennifer Madsen, Bryan Dyer, Jessica Madsen, Cody Dyer, Jody Madsen, Kevin Dyer and Alyssa Doyle.

I found out 9/26/09 that Lois had been ill for a few months and could not keep food down; she had been hospitalized at Mt. Sinai a few times and had surgeries. She passed from a stomach anyurism.
