Silver Springs – Richard Alan Paris, 61, passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 26, 2009. He was born in Ellenton, FL and moved here in 1977. He was a landscaper for Armstrong Nursery and enjoyed woodworking and listening to 50's and 60's music. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his loving wife, Melody of Silver Springs, his loving daughters, Natasha Nettles and husband Owen of Ocklawaha and Jacqueline Paris of Ocala, his brother, James R. Paris, Jr. of Palmetto and his three grandchildren, Tristan Nettles, Preston Paris and Paris Masi. He is survived by many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James R. Paris, Sr. and Elsie Paris. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Waldena Cemetery with Pastor Bob Lloyd officiating.
