Obituary of Nolan from Daily Herald dated July 11, 1910:

"DEATH OF NOLAN EUGENE AHERN"

"Eugene Nolan Ahern, aged three years and two months, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Ahern, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ahern, sr., and also grandson of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Ripoll, died at 4:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the home of his parents in Kuhn street. The funeral took place from the residence at 10 o'clock this morning, interment being in the Biloxi cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ripoll and three children of New Orleans arrived Sunday night to attend the funeral".

Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Records, Book 2, page 260 gives the following information: Nolan was 3 years old when he died from convulsions; his father, Nicholas, was a native of Baton Rouge; his mother's maiden name was Ripoll and she was a New Orleans native.
