Columbus lawyer and teacher. Arthur came to Columbus as a young man to attend the Ohio State University, where he recevied his B Ph in 1895 and his LL B in 1900. Between graduation and finishing his legal degree Arthur taught at East High School and South High School. In 1900 he joined his brothers' law practice in Columbus, and received an appointment from his alma mater to become an instructor in Law in 1908. Sadly his life was cut short by a crippling heart condition. He took a leave of absence in 1910 to attend the Battle Creek Sanitarium, seeking a cure, but died soon after he arrived.
