We lost our mother wife, sister and friend, Barbara Ann Price, 57, of Youngstown, NY, unexpectedly on Saturday, June 16, 2007. Born November 2, 1949 in Cumberland, MD, to Kathleen Keiper of Lewiston and the late Howard Keiper.
She attended Lewiston Porter High School and graduated from Bryant Stratton Business Institute. Barbara was active in the Girl Scouts, the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, the Youngstown Women's Club and was a Kindergarten Teacher at St. Peter's RC School in Lewiston for 24 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, reading, crafts, camping, traveling and mostly her family. She made a very positive impact on the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, William Price; her children, Thomas (Michelle) Price of Niagara Falls, Jeffery Price of Hickory. NC, Susan Price of Rochester, NY and Jonathan Price of Kansas City, MO; two grandchildren, Madison and Nicole; a brother, Ray Keiper of Anderson, SC; a sister; Susan Eick of Charlotte, NC; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth· and Ridge Sts., Lewiston on Tuesday from 2-4 and. 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday (June 20th) at 11:00 AM from the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, 100 Church St., Youngstown, with Rev. Rex Stewart officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to St. Peter's RC School Memorial Book Fund or First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown Memorial Fund.
