HARTSELLE -- A funeral for Mrs. Dovie Aldridge, 86, of Rt. 2, Danville, was to be today at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C. C. Reddings officiating. Burial was scheduled in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Aldridge died Thursday in a local hospital.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Trannie Bennett, Mrs. Zula Atkins and Mrs. Eula Reed, all of Hartselle; eight sons, Felix Aldridge of Danville, Gilbert Aldridge of Moulton, Clifford Aldridge of Florence, Clarence Aldridge and Truman Aldridge, both of Hartselle; Gaines Aldridge of Oak Ridge, Tenn., Irvin Aldridge of Tuscaloosa, Clyde Aldridge of Hooks, Tex.; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Chenault of Danville and Mrs. Vida Sterling of Cullman; and a brother, Pruitt Stephenson of Hartselle.
