Florence Lillian (Chaltas) Peipher, 91, of Conway, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Heritage Living Center. She was born June 9, 1918, in Jersey City, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Constantine and Bertha (Glock) Chaltas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Peipher, who died August 22, 2006; a brother, John Chaltas; and a sister, Genevieve Chaltas. Mrs. Peipher was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Conway.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Ann Olsen and husband Ralph of Maumelle; a son, Robert Raymond Peipher, Sr. and wife Sharon of Daytona Beach, FL; seven grandchildren, Buddy Olsen and wife Shawn, Wendy Coleman and husband John, Christopher Olsen, Craig Olsen, Robert Peipher, Jr., Robyn Bartkiewicz and husband Fred, Randy Gonthier, Angela Olsen; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2009, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Rev. John Gierke officiating. Entombment will follow in the Riverwood Mausoleum, Maumelle. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 28th, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Buddy, Chris, Craig and Connor Olsen, Robert Peipher, Jr., and John Coleman; honorary pallbearers are Mike Rapp, Bob Morris, Chase Coleman, Randy Gonthier, Brandon Olsen and Fred Bartkiewicz.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Trillium Park, Heritage Living Center staff and Odyssey Hospice; and a special friend, Barbara Hanks.
