Joetta L. Dreher, 75, of Overbrook, died July 25, 2009 at the Brookside Manor. She was born in St. Marys, Kansas on May 11, 1934 the daughter of Samuel and Nancy (Levett) Trude. Joetta was a waitress for Super D. Drug Store, was a manager for Hardees and owner of the Pop Inn at 29th and Kansas. She received communion from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at Lapeer. Joetta married Theodore Shorty Dreher on July 31, 1954 in Topeka, He preceded her in death on March 24, 2004. She is survived by three daughters, Anna Belle King of Hiram, Georgia, Joetta M. Wyatt of Overbrook and Theo L. Bourquin of Carbondale, a brother, John Trude of Perry, Kansas, four grandchildren, Holly McAndrews, Tommy King, Kenny Wyatt, and Jennifer Ragsdale and six great grandchildren, Thomas, Owen, A.J., Willow, Eva and Carlee. She will lie in state at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home on Wednesday after 2:00 p.m. where a rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. with interment to follow in the Carbondale Cemetery.
