June Johnson May was raised on stage from the time she was born. She grew up working by her Fathers side on stage and film and tv in many roles. She was a actress, a singer and a comedian. She was the "and" in Olsen and Johnson. She loved working with the whole family as they travled the world doing what they loved, entertaining people. She starred in such broadway hits as "hellzapoppin", "sons of fun" and "pardon our french" just to name a few. She was very proud to then become the wife of broadway star and leading man, Marty May whom she stood by for the rest of his life. She was the proud Mother of actor Bob May and dearly loved his wife Judy and a loving Grandma to their children, Martin May and Deborah May. She is loved and missed dearly but the warmth of her beautiful smile and the sound of her laughter still fills the hearts of those who loved her so. She was truly an amazing woman who changed the lives of many.
