Funeral Services To Be Wed. For O. Rasco
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 7 at the First Baptist Church in Blooming Grove for Odie Gay Rasco, 77, of Blooming Grove.
Rasco, a retired cattle buyer, died Monday, Sept. 5, in a Hubbard hospital following a short illness.
Services will be under the direction of Bradley Funeral Home, with burial in Dresden Cemetery. The Rev. W.A. Corley, pastor of First Baptist Church will officiate.
Rasco is survived by his widow, Olevia Ruth Rasco; one son, E.G. Rasco, of Navarro Mills; two daughters, Sharon Davis of Mesquite, and Sherlene Crenshaw of Irving; two brothers, E.J. Rasco of Irving, and Billy Rasco of Purdon; four sisters, Enid Dyer, Juanita Northcutt and Odessa Lynch, all of Irving, and Dorlisca Thorn of Barry, and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Jorden, J.W. Williams, Bill Kendrick, Melvin Boatman, Robert Gorden and Tommy Gorden.
