"Paul W. Ferris and Miss Gillette Wed in Church Ceremony ~ A recent marriage of interest here was celebrated a the Wilshire Boulevard Christian church, in Los Angeles on St. Valentine's day when Paul W. Ferris, telegraph editor of the Bulletin, claimed as his bride Miss Elizabeth Gillette, a talented Los Angeles girl and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Gillett of Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. The Rev. William Ross Lloyd of Salt Lake City, a close friend of the bride's family, read the ceremony at 11 o'clock in the morning in the presence of relatives of the two families. Among those who witnessed the ceremony were Mr. Ferris' mother, Mrs. Lillian W. Ferris, recently of Chicago and now of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Fred B. Gillett, mother of the bride. The bride was charming in a smart frock of pink georgette over a pink slip of a darker shade and carried an arm bouquet of pink roses. She is a student of the Major dramatic school in Los Angeles and was recently a member of the cast of "The Son-Daughter" at the Belasco theatre. She attended the Latter Day Saints University in Utah. Mr. Ferris, who joined the Bulletin staff last Saturday, attended Stanford and Northwestern Universities. Mr. and Mrs. Ferris are now residing at the Avis hotel here."
