H. H. Banks, colored, died yesterday evening at his home, 1018 Cottonwood.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the St. James Baptist church. Rev. C. M. Watson, pastor of the church, will conduct the services. Interment will be in Maplewood cemetery. Services at the grave will be conducted by the St. John's Masonic lodge. H. H. Banks was born in Eureka February 2, 1875. He is survived by Mrs. Banks and seven children, Mrs. Lucile Reams and Mrs. Mamie Reams, of Topeka; Ruth, Ishmael, Clara, Christina and Henry Banks, all of Emporia.

FUNERAL OF H. H. BANKS

Funeral services for H. H. Banks, colored, who died Wednesday evening at his home, were held yesterday afternoon at St. James Baptist church. Rev. C. M. Watson, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Interment was in Maplewood cemetery. The pallbearers were: William West, Cornelius C. Goss, Tony Hutchinson, Lane D. Taylor, Jordan Brown and William Bradshaw, of Topeka.
