Irene Allen Dead

Irene Edith Allen, colored, died this morning at 1 o'clock at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Allen, 1018 Cottonwood. Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the St. James Baptist Church. Rev. C.D. Marshall, pastor of the church, will conduct the services. Interment will be in the Maplewood cemetery. Irene Allen was born he daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Jess Allen, November 12, 1925 in Emporia.

The Allen Funeral

Funeral services for Irene Allen, colored, who died Tuesday at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Allen, 1018 Cottonwood, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the St. James Baptist Church. Rev. C.O. Marshall, pastor of the church, conducted the services. Pall bearers were: Christina Banks, Ruth White, Clara Bently and Mamie Reams. Interment was in the Maplewood cemetery.
