HOUSTON, Minn. — Myles A. "Butch" Cornwell, 34, of Houston died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at his home.
Butch was born July 9, 1971, in La Crosse, Wis., to Arthur "Sonny" Cornwell and Bonnie Myers. He was raised in Nodine, Minn., where he attended St. John's Lutheran School. On Aug. 24, 2000, he married Stephanie Combs. Following his marriage, Butch lived in Houston and worked for Passow Agriculture Service in Peterson, Minn. He had a love for the outdoors. Butch enjoyed fishing, tractors and spending time with his children.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; two children, Abigail and Blake; parents, Bonnie (Nick Marson) Myers of Winona and Arthur Cornwell of Houston; one sister, Jennifer (Paul) Schumacher of Houston; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Myers of Bangor, Wis.; paternal grandparents, LaVerne and Arlene Cornwell of Houston; and one nephew, Shane Schumacher of Houston.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Stanley Myers.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston, with the Rev. Lane Zaffke officiating. Burial will be in Hiler Cemetery in Nodine. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hoff Funeral Homes-Houston Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
