Husband of Mary Plumley Nordquist and son of John and Johanna Tonman Nordquist. He was a WW II Veteran and a Lutheran by faith. He died Feb. 9, 1995 in the Veteran's Adminstration Hospital in Asheville, NC. He was a native of Hoffman, Minn. Suvivors included, one son; Edward Morrill, two daughters; Marjorie Linnes and Jeanne Fisher, one brother; Maynard Nordquist and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was 77 years of age at his death. Interment was in the Landrum Cemetery.
