Agnes was the wife of Atlas Franklin "Bud" Capps.
Agnes worked for the Zipper factory downtown Newport News, Va where she retired. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Newport News, Va.
Agnes died after injuries sustained from a traffic accident at the intersection of Jefferson Ave and Main Street when someone ran a red light and hit the vehicle in which she was riding. She was on her way to spend Christmas in Virginia Beach with her daughter and family. Her daughter and grandaughter sustained injuries also, but survived, as they were all in the same vehicle.
Mrs. Capps was a true Christian woman, in every sense of the word.
