Mr. Robert Edward McDowell, 41, of 1124 Justice Ave. died Feb. 9, 1995, at home. Funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday at Shiloh Institutional Baptist Church, where he was a member. Burial will be in Oaklawn Park. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Alexander Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. McDowell, a Charlotte native, was owner of McDowell Cleaning Systems Inc. and was a member of the J.A. Gospel Choir at his church. He was a graduate of South Mecklenburg High School.
Survivors are his wife, Debra; sons, Demarco Price, Rashada Price, Sanchez Brown; mother, Mrs. Mary McDowell; brothers, Thaddeus McDowell, Ronald McDowell, Theodore McDowell, Reginald McDowell; sisters, Mrs. Rosa Spencer, Ms. Gail McDowell.
