This was my father, Mieczyslaw Tadeusz Rysiakiewicz, who later changed his name to Oscar Willings to simplify things. He was born in Lwow, Poland, which is a part of the Ukraine today, taken by the Russians after World War II and re-named L'viv. The Germans called it Lemberg. He came to New York in 1947.

He lived in New York City and worked for the Park Dept. as an engineer before retiring to his beloved Cooksburg, where he owned some land and a small get-away house.
