WATSON, WILLIAM S., of Pleasant Hill, MS, died September 13, 2006 at Batist Hospital DeSoto. He was 79 years old. He served in the U.S. Army, retired from Roadway Express, and worked as a teacher at Olive Branch High School and at Ford Motor Company. Preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jo Watson. He is survived by three children, Ellen Watson Hogan of Nashville, Larry Thomas Watson of Memphis, and Pat Watson of Garner, NC; his brother, Marvin Watson of Oxford, MS; and his sister-in-law, Betty Jean Wren of Pleasant Hill. Services were at 2 p.m., Sept. 16 at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch followed by burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association.
