Mrs. Maggie Houze (Howze in other records) Kring, 79, died this morning at her residence, 909 Griffin Street, Moss Point. She had suffered an illness for three years. SHe was a native of Covington, Louisiana, but had lived in Moss Point for 76 years.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Moss Point. Survivors include her husband, Herbert C. Kring (died 1974) of Moss Point.

Funeral service to be held at Fail's Funeral Home Chapel in Pascagoula on Friday morning. Burial to follow at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point. The Reverend Walte L. Bader, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Moss Point leading the service, assisted by the Reverend Dufus Bennett, pastor of East Side Baptist Church of Pascagoula.

Pallbearers at the funeral were Hans Pellie, E. M. Mortensen, Joe Wilson, Paisley E. Livingston, Dr. Cecil Lacey, and Carl Wilson.
