Leroy Anderson
Former Burton community resident Leroy ANDERSON, 86, Rt. 6, Rochester, died at 2:50 a.m. today at the Rochester Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 22, 1904 in Fulton County to William and Ella Mae HOWARD ANDERSON, he lived all his life in this area. He married Alice BOWMAN on May 29, 1923, at his residence. She died April 18, 1980.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include: one daughter, Margaret WITUCKI; one grandson, Leroy WITUCKI; one great-grandson, Sean WITUCKI, all of South Bend; one sister, Mrs. Lucy SEE, Macy; a brother, Dee ANDERSON, Rochester. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Dale, Guy and Howard [ANDERSON].
Services are tentatively set for 11 a.m. Monday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rochester.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until services Monday.
