Madonna Jean Plum, 63, of the Denver community, died Thursday, April 3, 2003, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born March 20, 1940, in Hambleton, a daughter of the late Esther Jean Paugh.

She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Chapel in Tunnelton, president of Preston Hope House, a loving housewife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Walter N. Plum Sr.; three sons, Walter N. Plum Jr. of Annapolis, Md., Robert Allen "Al" Plum of Arthurdale, and GySgt. Samuel "Sam" Lewis Plum of Cherry Point, N.C.; three daughters, Wilma Jean "Cissy" LaRue of Arthurdale, Tracy Michele Furr of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lesley Renea Skipper of Perryville, Md.; two sisters, Devetta Nestor of Parsons, and Jacqueline Moore of Tunnelton; an aunt, Dorothy Watkins of Kingwood; a stepbrother, Jerry Watkins in North Carolina; a stepsister, Mary Lou Shaffer of Tunnelton; 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Snoopy.

Friends were received in Morgan Funeral Home, Reedsville. Funeral services will be in the Christian Evangelical Church at Birdscreek today at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Uphold officiating. Interment will follow in Shaw Cemetery in Denver.
