LAURA JOHANNE AMALIE (NIELSEN) WODDER was born July 21, 1900 in Marquette, Hamilton, Nebraska to Christian and Anna Nielsen.

After her first husband's death she remarried to a Rev. Marius Krog. However, she is buried under her first husband's last name.

Her obituary notice is found in the St. Petersburg Independent Newspaper on Tuesday, August 28, 1973 on page 18. This is a Florida newspaper.

Mrs. Laura Krog, 73 7116 First Ave. S. died Sunday (Aug 26, 1973). She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. George E. Tornwall Jr. of St. Petersburg, and Mrs. Weston Birdsall of Osage, Iowa; a son, Niels Christian Wodder, of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Jensen, of Issaquah, Wash., and Mrs. Holgar Frank of Sterling, Colo.; and 11 grandchildren. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Redeemer Lutheran Church of St. Petersburg. Services will be held in Marquette, Neb.
