Catherine was a very good person. She worked hard like her mother taught her and carried that throughout her life. She was widowed young and was left to raise an 8 year old son and having a daughter 12 years older than him. It caused her a lot of work to keep up the family but she did it without complaining. She was a good mother to the two children which she raised. Her first daughter died at the age of 5, just as she was to raise her baby girl named Maxine. Her grandchildren loved her a lot, she always had some raisins in the refridgerator for them when they came to visit. Just enough for the one visit. Then they had to come back to get more the next time. Our children remember that with a smile now that they have children. Catherine had a sad life losing her husband there in their home and losing her little Romaine. I am sure she was met by a smile on the other side when they first saw her again. Love to a good lady.
