Clarksville- Chester Ervan "Chet" Janes Jr., 49 of Clarksville died Friday, Jan. 4, at his residence.
Chet was born July 13, 1958, the son of George Hemingway and Shirley Buck.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Hemingway; great grand mother, Minnie Cunningham; grandmother and father Homer and Lorene Chesshire; sister, Mohanna Hemingway and a brother, Dusty Hemingway.
Survivors include his wife, Nita Janes; parents, Robert and Shirley Buck of Hugo, Okla; four daughters, Charity Adams and husband, Nathan, of Quitman, Debra Lovett and husband David, of Bogata, Tammy Janes of Valliant, Okla. and Jessica Jans of Broken Bow, Okla; sisters Lori Collins and husband, J.B.,of Lake Creek and Kim Jackson and huaband Bryan, of Texarkana, Ark.; four brothers, Marshall Hemingway of Paris, Michael Hemingway, Rusty Hemingway of Rattan, Okla. and David Ray Buck.

Funeral services were held for 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12, at the Lindeman Chapel with the Rev. Stacy Smith officiating. Burial followed in Albion Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
The family received friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Family and friends also meet at 10:30 a.m. at New Haven Community Center for lunch prior to visitation.
