ST PAUL - Frank Jares, 90, of St. Paul, died Wednesday night in a St. Paul hospital. Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Jacobsen Funeral Home in St. Paul. The Rev. Harold Snow will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery at St. Paul
Mr. Jares was born Dec. 1, 1892, in Howard County to John and Anna Bochmicek (sic) Jares. He received his education and grew to manhood in Howard County. He farmed with his parents. On Jan. 28, 1914, he was married to Jennie Matousek at St. Paul. The couple farmed in the St. Paul area until 1950 when they retired and moved into St. Paul. Mrs. Jares died in Jan. of 1968. Mr. Jares remained at St. Paul for the rest of his life.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edmund (Lucille) Boll of St. Paul and Mrs. William (Bessie) Lanka of Grand Island; one son, Louis Jares of St. Paul; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, three brothers and five sisters.
